Trigogen review

Trigogen is a standardised extract of Fenugreek promoted as capturing the essential glycemic control ingredients present in fenugreek seeds in good proportions. Fenugreek is a herb often used for sugar control and blood lipid control. Fenugreek seeds are widely used in India as part of the daily diet. The fenugreek seed has many phytochemical constituents such as saponins, amino acids, branched chain amino acids, dietary fiber, proteins etc.

Trigogen research
The Trigogen website makes this claim, "Trigogen has been clinically tested with a double blind, randomized, placebo controlled multi centric clinical trial. It has shown statistically significant results in control of fasting sugar levels, post prandial sugar levels and glycosylated hemoglobin."

We searched Medline and when we searched for the term Trigogen, we did not find any mention.

The following term was not found: trigogen.

However, there are a number of studies that have shown fenugreek extract to have beneficial health properties.

We are of the opinion that Trigogen could have health benefits, but in order to be more specific, long term studies are required.
